The pearl chandelier earrings are a basic project. They also work really well with Crystal beads if you prefer to create a little sparkle for a big night out.

Materials

You will need the following materials:

  • 10mm pearls
  • 4mm pearls
  • 8mm round beads or pearls
  • Size 11 seed beads
  • Bead caps
  • Ear wires
  • Your choice of beading thread

So, feel free to check out my beading supplies. Or, I have a few kits available in different colours. Just drop me an email if you want to know more about those.

Techniques and Experience

The pearl chandelier earrings are based on Right Angle Weave. Please don’t groan! In fact, this project is a really easy introduction to the technique. So, you are going to learn the basics. Then add a little embellishment that will make your project look very complicated… It’s not!

This is a great project to try if you are a beginner. Or, if you want a little RAW refresher and a quick make.

About the pearl chandelier earrings

I would classify these as more ‘chunky’ earrings. So, they have a drop of about 3″ (7.5cm) below the ear wires. They aren’t heavy to wear, but if you like delicate earrings, this probably isn’t the pattern for you.

You can have a lot of fun trying out different colourways with this project. The earrings are quick to make. So, you can run up several pairs to match different outfits.

If you run a craft stall, this could be a good pattern for you. I am very happy for you to sell the earrings that you make – just please credit me as the designer. I know from experience that this design is popular. My kits are quickly snapped up at bead fairs each time!

So, I would love to see your take on this design. Let me know which colours work well for you.
