This Paisley Duo Bridge bead necklace pattern is stylish to wear and simple to make. Keep reading to find out more about the project.

Materials

You will need size 11 seed beads, Paisley Duo beads, Bridge beads and pearls to make this necklace. All the materials are readily available from any good bead shop.

The tutorial gives you the exact bead colours and quantities that I used in the image shown. You can also adjust the colours to suit your own tastes, or work from your bead stash.

You will also need a clasp of your choice and your favourite beading thread.

If you need help choosing materials, or need to understand more about any of the beads I have used, check out this website for answers.

Experience and Techniques

You will be working in Peyote stitch for the main focal section of the necklace. I used spiral staircase to create the chain, but you are welcome to add any chain of your choice.

This is suitable for intermediate beaders, or keen beginners who are happy to learn new techniques. If you need extra help with any of the basic beading techniques, please follow this link.

About the Paisley Duo Bridge Bead Necklace

I originally created this design in 2020, when I was working as a member of the Beadsmith Inspiration Squad. The Paisley Duo Bridge bead necklace showcased some of the top-selling Beadsmith Czech shaped beads at that time. It has now been released for sale through my website and Etsy store, should you wish to create your own version of this gorgeous design!

You can expect to make this in a day – the focal section works up fairly quickly, and then it’s just a matter of beading the rope of your choice. You can even substitute the rope with a shop-bought length of chain, or ribbon. The necklace length is adjustable. It looks great at choker length up close to the neck, or as a rope length where the focal will sit across your chest.

So, I hope you have fun creating your version of this gorgeous project.
