Cabochons

Here are patterns and projects that use Cabochons. You can also check the beading supplies. Therefore, you can put together your own little project kit.

What Are Cabochons?

You have most likely heard of Cabochons before. Beaders love to use them for all kinds of projects. If you’re not sure about what they are, I define them as an object that you can bead around. Usually, cabochons are round or oval in shape. However, they can be other shapes or even completely irregular. The main point is, they have no hole through. So, you have to create a casing with seed beads to hold them. Designers have come up with so many different ways to encase a Cabochon. So, I am giving you some patterns here to get you started. Alternatively, you could just buy the beads and make up your own designs.

Please remember to check back here regularly as I will be adding new designs. If you would like more information about the beads and techniques, then visit www.myworldofbeads.com. You will be able to read blogs about everything you need to know. Finally, if you have any questions about any products, please just drop me an email. I’m always happy to help!
