Make these cute beaded Easter eggs and use them as little charms for jewellery. The pattern gives you three different designs. So, you can create some fun colourful bracelets, necklaces or earrings.

Materials

You just need size 11 seed beads for these beaded Easter eggs. I have given you three designs that each use two colours. You need less than 1g of beads for each egg. So, this is a great way to use up a few leftovers from your stash.

You should use a beading thread that will give you good tension as that is critical to the 3-D shape.

Experience and Techniques

These beaded Easter eggs are made using brick stitch. Now, you might be looking at them and thinking I’ve used tubular brick stitch… Well, you would be wrong. The 3-D shapes are actually a series of flat pieces joined together. So, that is why I said you will need good tension.

The brick stitch is just basic. But you will need to create some shaping. So, if you have never used brick stitch before, you might also like to download all the brick stitch tutorials from my free tutorials here>>

Ideas for using your beaded Easter eggs

This pattern includes three different designs. Plus, I have given you a couple of ideas for using your beaded Easter egg charms. You can string them together on memory wire. Or you could use something like tiger tail if you prefer.

Or, you can add an eye pin up through the top of the charm. Then use this to create a charm bracelet. Maybe you add some little flowers in between your eggs too?

You can also stitch the eggs, if you want to use them in a bead-weaving project.

Or, you can forget the idea of jewellery and just use them as mini Easter decorations. They would look really cute in my beaded Easter basket.
