Description
This heart beaded bead is a cute design that makes beautiful jewellery.
Materials
You can use any kind of seed beads for your heart beaded bead. Plus, you will need some beading thread.
When you are starting out, use bigger beads to help you see what you are doing. Then, you can scale down to smaller beads once you are comfortable with the techniques.
I made my heart with size 10 Delicas. They work well for this design because they give a really neat shape. If you use the rounded seed beads (rocailles), your heart will have a softer look.
The finished size, with these beads is just under 1″. So, if you want to scale down to size 11 beads, you will get a smaller heart. If you’re very brave, you could try a tiny heart with size 15s!

Experience and Techniques
This pattern uses brick stitch and a little square stitch thread path. I have explained the thread paths throughout. But I have also assumed that you have done some brick stitch in the past.
So, if you need any technique reminders, you can download free tutorials here to help you.
This is an improver to intermediate project. Although, if you are a beginner and feel happy following instructions and learning, you should certainly be able to do this.
Heart Beaded Bead Jewellery
This heart beaded bead design is ideal for stringing. It has a clear hole through, so you can string it onto any material.
I have included a blank pattern so you can create your own designs and colouring.
If you make hearts in different sized beads, you can string them into very attractive jewellery. Or, you can keep to all one size and just change up your colours.
They work really well as necklaces or bracelets. Perhaps, you can even string some sideways for an unusual pair of earrings?!
