The daisy hexagon bracelet pattern makes an adjustable cuff, fastened with a toggle clasp. Use peyote stitch to make the components of the ‘grass’ cuff and join them together. The daisy toggle clasp is made separately, also using peyote stitch.
This is a great pattern for practising and perfecting your circular peyote skills. Digital Beading Magazine originally published this design. I developed it from the quilters cuff bracelet that appeared in Beadwork Magazine. I loved making it, so hope you will too. …and thank you to the wonderful customers who have shared their version with me – I love seeing what you create!
Materials for the Daisy Hexagon Bracelet
The main bracelet is made from a series of beaded hexagons. When I created this design, I was thinking about a field of daisies. So, I chose to use three different shades of green beads to represent the grass. You will need size 11 seed beads. You can also use size 11 delicas for the hexagons. This will give your daisy hexagon bracelet a more geometric, harder look.
The daisy is also the toggle clasp. So, for this, I used a 10mm wooden bead in yellow and some white Rizo beads for the petals. I would still recommend using size 11 seed beads for the toggle. This is simply because the Delicas are a little smaller in size. So, you will likely find the bead counts don’t fit around the wooden bead if you are trying to use Delicas.
Cost may also be a factor. In this case, seed beads are significantly cheaper than delica beads
The last thing you will need is some beading thread. You can check my beading supplies for all these materials. If you are struggling to find any of the materials, just contact me and I will be happy to help.
