It has been so lovely to hear from several of you who are so keen to start preparing for International Beading Week 2020. I announced my first beading project a few weeks ago, along with a prize draw which you can still enter. (You can find all the details here.) Then, last week, I revealed a second project for you to enjoy.

But, so far, you’ve only seen the finished projects. So, now it’s time to reveal exactly what you’re going to need to complete both.

Well, I will be running both projects as online classes. You’re going to have to wait another couple of weeks before you can register, but  you can now take a look at what you’ll be getting.

So, use this link to view the introduction to my six-pointed star class. I’ve put together a little video to introduce the project in more detail. Then, you get the list of materials, and some more information about the class format. Just follow that link and scroll to the bottom of the page to view the introduction.

If you’re interested in making the beaded beads, then I have also put together an introduction and materials list for that. So, you can follow this link to view those. Again, just scroll to the bottom of the page to view it all!

So, if you’re bursting to get started, just follow those links to view the introductions. You can then start gathering together your materials. I know at the moment, it’s taking longer for orders to arrive. So, that’s why I’ve tried to offer projects using materials that you may already have in your stash.

If you are needing to order anything extra, then make sure to support you favourite bead shops. (If you need a recommendation, use this link). We all need all the help we can get in these tough times. You should have plenty of time to order and receive everything before International Beading Week begins.

I will be offering the opportunity to register early for the classes, at a discounted rate.

That opportunity will open up on 1st July 2020. So, add a note to your diary! Or, just make sure you’re on my mailing list and I will let you know when registration opens. (Click here to join the mailing list now).

And, then there’s that prize draw…

If you want to be in with a chance of winning free entry to both these online classes, make sure you enter the draw. It will close at the end of June, so you’ve just got a couple of weeks to try and secure your free places. Click here for all the details, and to enter now.

In summary…

If you’re itching to start preparing for International Beading Week 2020, then here are the three steps you can take right now:

  1. Visit the online class page to find out more about each project, and what materials you will need
