If you’re on my mailing list, you will probably already know about this. But in case you missed it, or you’re not yet on the list, I wanted to let you know about my new free beading courses.

This is all part of the improvements I’ve been making over the past couple of months. So, I have already let you know about my new-look mailing list. That’s called, ‘Beading with Katie’ and offers you the flexibility to choose what you want to hear about and how often. So, just follow the link above if you missed that news.

Then, I also launched a new, and exclusive, club. This is for my most loyal customers so that I can give something back to you. The idea is basically that club members will be able to save money every time they purchase. So, that means money off patterns on here and on Etsy. Also discounts on every single beading class that I run. If you want to find out more about that, use this link.

But today, I want to talk about the last element of this new look – the free beading courses.

What will you learn on the free beading courses?

I have a range of courses at the moment and I am adding more all the time. So, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a diverse range of skills.

These could be basic techniques, like brick stitch or bead embroidery.

Or, you might learn skills like how to design, choosing colours, or how to photograph your work.

You can also learn more about bead types, threads, findings, and other materials.

So, there will be a broad range of courses on offer and you will get to choose which you want to try.

How do they work?

Very simple. You can start by following this link which will take you to the sign up page. Leave your details and I will then send you an email with a list of all the free beading courses that are currently available.

You just select one from the list, sign up to that and then watch your inbox.

The courses all vary in length. But basically, you will receive a series of emails. Each of these will be a ‘lesson’ in your chosen topic.

Alongside this, you’ll get recommendations for projects that will help you to learn. And if I am making suggestions for projects, you may also get discounts on those tutorials if you’re within the course.

The emails are set up to send at regular intervals designed to give you time to complete each lesson before the next one arrives. But you can also just save all the emails and follow the course in your own time whenever you’re ready.

After you have completed one course, you will have the option to try another one. So, if you want to continue learning, you can. Or if you need to take a break, you can start another course at any time. Alternatively, if there’s nothing else you want to learn, you can just walk away.

Who are the free beading courses for?

Anyone. I hopefully have something that will be of interest no matter what level of experience you have.

The only caveat is that you have to be on my mailing list to take these courses. But when you sign up to request course information, you will automatically be added to the mailing list and you can choose what type of newsletters you want to receive from me.

You have a choice of weekly newsletter (this is the best option as it gives you a weekly beading tip plus news of new projects). So, it is great for anyone who wants to really learn and improve their skills.

Or, you can choose to just receive an email whenever I launch a new tutorial or class. So, the timing of that will be irregular, depending on what I’m launching and when.

Or, you can choose to hear from me once a month. That will just let you know what projects I’ve launched that past month and will also link to any new blog posts. So, it’s a good way of just staying up-to-date on news.

How do you sign up?

Very simple! Just follow this link and complete the form. Then look out for the list of free beading courses and get ready to enjoy learning!

What’s the catch…?

There really isn’t any kind of ‘hidden agenda’ here. I’m doing this because I love beading and I want as many people as possible to enjoy more beading too.

Yes, you will get to see more of my work and have opportunities to buy more from me. But you don’t have to. This is also just a channel for learning and helping you to improve your skills and grow your confidence.

After all, if you have more skills and more confidence, that enables you to enjoy more beading projects, and that’s a good thing for all of us.

So, if that sounds good, what are you waiting for?… click here to get started now.

And, if you know other beaders who would enjoy this, then please tell them about it too. The more people I can help, the happier I will be!
