What Are Lentil Beads?

If you have never come across Lentil beads before, they are a type of shaped seed bead. As you might guess, they are round discs. They come in two varieties: with a single hole near the base, or with two holes. In this case, one hole is near the base and the other is in the centre. They add wonderful texture to designs. I am giving you some patterns here to get you started, but you could just buy the beads and make up your own designs.
