Description
Free Pattern Cubic Right Angle Weave
This free pattern Cubic Right Angle Weave will teach you the basics. If you complete the pattern you will end up with a very attractive bracelet or necklace (depending on the length you make). You can find out how to attach a clasp here, if you need to.
Cubic Right Angle Weave is a basic bead-weaving technique, but one which a lot of people find quite tricky. Before you start this, please make sure you are really comfortable with flat Right Angle Weave. Until you feel happy with the figure of eight style motion of this stitch, you will struggle with the cubic version.
If you are still trying to master the basic technique, then you can find a free pattern for Right Angle Weave here. The free pattern Cubic Right Angle Weave uses colouring to help you understand the stitch and see the thread path as you work.
Each tutorial that I have developed comes from the years of teaching experience that I have acquired. I have seen first-hand what people find tricky to understand and master. So I have tried to use that knowledge as I developed this tutorial. Once you have mastered the technique, you might want to try putting it into practice. The ‘tubular bells’ necklace is a great place to start.
