About the fascinator
When I was preparing for my second scheduled show for Jewellery Maker TV, I got a little bit carried away with the fascinator bases in my kits! As it turned out, I wasn’t well (read my story here), so didn’t manage to do the show, but I did watch it and the very lovely Hannah Osbourne (who I met at the seed bead launch show) filled in and did an amazing job…thank you!
Anyway, back to the fascinators. Having made a couple with the gorgeous seed bead kits from the show (read all about them and see the fascinator creations here), I was still brimming with ideas. I just had to try some with flowers on top and, being a little impatient, I found a couple of miniature roses and some gypsophila that had been lying unused in a box. So, I put these on top and decided to take my theme on to create a little rose bouquet, with a ribbon arrangement to complete the design.
This free download shows you how to create this design. You will need the flower patterns from my ebook, ‘Bead Flowers and Wedding Bouquets’, but the way in which they are assembled and the bow is added is all explained in this free fascinator tutorial. So enjoy!
