I like to try and give back where I can. The beading community is a wonderful friendly, helpful place. So, it’s good to reflect that as we interact with each other. One of the ways in which I try to help you out is by running regular beading competitions.
I usually announce these in my blog posts. So I’ve created this section for you to see what is open to entry at the moment. Old contests will still be visible in the main blog pages, but I remove them from this section when they’ve finished.
Over the years, I’ve run a lot of different types of contest. Some are prize draws, where you just need to leave your details and hope you’re lucky!
In other cases, I might ask you to create a piece of beadwork to be judged by me, or by other beaders.
Some might involve you answering questions about beading. Others might be based around a theme.
Whatever the type, these are always open to beaders worldwide. So, you don’t have to be based in any particular country to take part.
Prizes range from gift coupons to bead stashes, to free classes. You’ll see a huge range in value. So, I’m sure you can find something that suits your skill level and experience, and gives you a prize that you will enjoy.
