What Are Honeycomb Beads?

If you have never come across Honeycomb beads before, they are a type of shaped seed bead. As you might guess, they are six-sided and flat, but each bead has two holes through it. As a result, these beads can be tessellated like honeycomb to make really interesting designs. They are also available as Honeycomb Jewels where the face is slightly raised rather than flat. I am giving you some patterns here to get you started, but you could just buy the beads and make up your own designs.
