Well, this is me starting on one of my New Year resolutions… A summary blog post of all the new beading patterns for the month. And, in case you’re wondering, this is by popular demand! A few people have asked for an update on what’s new in each month. That seemed like a great idea to me…

And this month, I have a bonus, as I’ve added some kits and beads as well as the new beading patterns. So, enjoy!

New Beading Patterns

I decided to get ahead of the game this year. So, rather than waiting until February to create new designs for Valentine’s, I started in January.

That means you can go ahead and getting beading your treats for loved ones. Incidentally, I also created a section just for Valentines beading. So, you can check that out here >>

Anyway, back to those new beading patterns…

Then, no month would be complete (for me!) without some beaded Sweet Treats! So, again by popular demand, I have added the tutorial for my chocolate gateau slice. And I finally published a pattern that I designed 6 years ago… Better late than never! So, that’s my Toblerone. (Get the pattern here)

P.S. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m busy developing that into an exciting new project which I hope to reveal very soon…

New French Beading

It’s been a while since I published any new beading patterns for flowers. But, thanks to the prompting of a customer, I designed a French beaded carnation. So, starting as I mean to go on, I hope to bring you some more new French beading projects later this year…

New Shaped Seed Beads

I’ve been doing (and loving) a lot more with the old seed beads recently. But I still like to keep my hand in with the new beads. So, as you will probably spot, one thing leads to another…

I started out with this pair of earrings. Then, posted them on show in the Beadsmith Inspiration Squad. The lovely Leslie Rogalski suggested this motif would make a great ring. So, who am I to argue?

New Beads…

Well, it’s my mission to try and make your lives easier. So, I’ve been trying to stock beads that I use in my new beading patterns. That means you can get everything you in need all in one place.

So, January was all about Domes, Pellets and Rullas! I love all these beads and want to use them more. If you’ve yet to try them, this could be a good excuse. You can check out these and all my other beading supplies in the main menu. So, let me tempt you…!

New Beading Kits

Finally, I’ve added three new kits for some of my most popular patterns. I will happily put together a custom kit for any of my patterns. All you have to do is ask!

Very often, as in the case of these three, the kits then make it on to the website. I usually make them up to order. So, if you need special colour combinations, you can always put in a request.

This month, I’m helping you get ahead for Easter (sorry if that’s too early!) and treating you to a sweet cupcake beaded box. So, enjoy these kits and more…

And don’t forget… If you’ve just stumbled here and you’re new to beading, I am here to help. So, if you’ve got beading questions that need answering, I have just the solution. Follow this link >>
