Yes, you did read that right…Free Beads!
This is the Bead Flowers loyalty scheme. It started on 8th February 2019 and this is why…
I’m so grateful for the beaders that come back and shop with me time and time again. So, I wanted to do something to reward them. And this is one way in which I can!
How does the free beads scheme work?
You need to be logged in to your account when you place an order. The system will then automatically apply the free beads for which your order qualifies.
Each product in my store tells you how many beads you could earn. You should also see the total bead count in your shopping cart before you check out.
Once you have earned some beads, you will then have the option to use them in part payment on your next order. Again, you would need to be logged in to see your bead total and redeem your beads.
Most customers do log in when they check out, so you probably already have an account and can start earning beads straightaway.
What if I can’t log in to my account?
If you are getting a message to say your email doesn’t exist, then first, check you typed the email address correctly (and used the right email). Assuming you did that, this message would indicate that you don’t have an account on the website. (Note: even if you receive emails and newsletters from me, it doesn’t mean you have a website account set up).
Setting up an account is easy. Just choose the option to ‘register’ instead of ‘log in’. Then follow the instructions.
If you already have an account, but you forgot your details, it’s easy to reset your password. Just below the log in boxes, you will see a pink message asking if you forgot your password. Just click on that and the system will send you a new password. Follow the instructions and you’ll be logged in again in no time.
How many beads will I earn?
You will earn 5 free beads for every £ that you spend on the Bead Flowers website.
Note: you won’t earn beads if you use my Etsy store, or make payment via cheque, in person, or any other payment method that is not on this website. If you use a discount coupon, this will reduce your total payment and thus the number of beads you earn on that transaction.
Also, if you are used to shopping in another currency, please remember that the beads are calculated based upon the GBP Sterling value of your purchase.
So, if you are trying to work out the number yourself, you may not be able to, unless you have also factored in the exchange rate for your chosen currency. But, your potential bead earnings will always display correctly, even if you are looking at products in your local currency.
Regrettably, I am not able to add beads retrospectively. So, if you forget to log in before placing your order, I’m afraid your potential earned beads will be lost forever.
How to redeem your free beads
You can redeem your beads when you check out on the Bead Flowers website. So, you should see a little message on the cart page asking if you want to redeem any beads. You can then select how many you wish to use on that order (up to a maximum of £10 value – that’s 1,000 points). So, you don’t have to spend them all at once! But you can if you wish.
100 beads are worth £1.
Your beads will expire after one year. So, don’t forget to use them while you have them!
You cannot redeem points in my Etsy store, in person or using any payment method other than check out on the Bead Flowers website. I am not able to apply beads retrospectively. So, once you have placed your order, I can’t change your bead spend or your bead total.
All the usual terms and conditions apply to your orders. So, if you need to check them out, follow this link.
Thank you for visiting. I look forward to welcoming you back over and over again!
