This honeycomb bracelet is simple to make and a great way to get to know the Honeycomb Jewel beads.

Materials

You will need the following materials to make your honeycomb bracelet:

  • Honeycomb jewels
  • GemDuos
  • Miyuki size 11 seed beads
  • True2 beads
  • Your choice of beading thread
  • A snap fastener or popper

I sell all these materials right here in my beading supplies>>

You may be curious about the snap fastener? Well, this design felt like it needed a beaded clasp to complement the design. So, I created a motif that worked well with the bracelet and then used a snap fastener rather than a more conventional jewellery clasp. However, if you don’t like this idea, you can use any clasp of your choice.

If you would like a little advice about choosing clasps, then check out this blog>>

You can also use ordinary honeycomb beads in place of the honeycomb jewels if you wish. This will create a different look as you will lose the texture on the jewels. But the effect will still be lovely.

Experience and Techniques

This honeycomb bracelet is suitable for all levels. If you are new to using shaped seed beads, then it is a good project for discovering how to work with multiple holes.

The clasp uses a little bit of circular peyote stitch, but the instructions are clearly explained. The main bracelet is really just stringing, following thread paths.

So, this pattern includes detailed instructions accompanied by diagrams and photos.

About the Honeycomb Bracelet

You may also be wondering about sizing. This style of bracelet is ideally suited to fitting snugly around the wrist. But of course, the main motifs will dictate the length. So, I designed a way of changing the size as you attach the clasp.

I have explained all this in the pattern. All you need to know here is that this bracelet can be sized easily to fit any wrist.

It is elegant and pretty for the summer. Or change up the colouring and create a more sparkly effect for the Winter party season.
