This flower basket beaded bead pattern is one in the series I made for my 2019 challenge. So, keep reading to find out more.
Your flower basket beaded bead pattern uses the following materials:
- Size 11 delicas
- 2x4mm Peanut beads
- Your choice of beading thread
These may well be beads that you already have in your stash. But you can also find all these materials in my beading supplies department on this website.
If you wish, you can use other brands of seed beads, rather than the cylinder (Delica) beads. This will give your basket a more rounded shape, but won’t make a lot of difference.
You may also know Peanut beads as Farfalle beads. These are different brand names for a bead that is essentially the same shape. So, either brand will work on this project, but do check that the size is the same – 2mm x 4mm.
I used Fireline thread for my project because this gives me a good tension. But you may prefer a different thread. So, just use whatever suits you best.
Experience and Techniques
The flower basket beaded bead pattern is an intermediate level project.
You are going to be using circular Peyote, basic Right Angle Weave, and some simple freeform Peyote. I have used diagrams and descriptions to take you through all the techniques.

About the Flower Basket Beaded Bead Pattern
This pattern gives you five pages of instructions. The materials list includes details of the beads and colours that I used.
I have used comprehensive diagrams to illustrate the thread paths for each step. Although I assume that you have done some Peyote and RAW before, I have also linked to free tutorials. So, if you need extra help with the basic techniques, you can use those alongside this pattern.
The finished beaded bead is about 1″ (2cm) in size. So, you could make a very pretty necklace or bracelet, stringing these with smaller spacer beads between them.
