This tea and cake beaded needle case pattern combines two designs that have been really popular as pens. So, think Afternoon Tea and Cupcakes!

You will need the following materials to make the tea and cake beaded needle case:

  • Beadable needle case
  • Size 11 delicas
  • Your choice of beading thread

I sell all these supplies on this website.

Experience and Techniques

This tea and cake beaded needle case uses even count Peyote stitch. So, it is the perfect project if you are new to beading. You will get plenty of practice in following a Peyote pattern. I also have free tutorials to help you.

This pattern includes a reminder of the technique and a blank chart. So, if you feel brave, you can even design your own needle case.

About the Tea and Cake beaded needle case

I have created a design that is customised to fit this beadable needle case (that link will take you to the page where you can buy it!). So, working with size 11 delicas, the chart will fit precisely.

That means you don’t need to worry about fiddling around with sizing. Just simply get on and bead!

This is one in a series of beaded needle case designs. I have included some links to others just under here. And I will be adding more. So, if there is a theme you would like turned into a beaded needle case design, then let me know.

As I mentioned, this particular design uses even count Peyote. But I plan a few experiments to see which other beadweaving techniques I can use. So, if you are interested in hearing more about these, then make sure you are on my mailing list. I use that to keep people updated about new patterns, kits, books and beads.
