About the Pearl Earrings

I created this design for my second show with Jewellery Maker TV. The theme was a Day at the Races, so I wanted to create some elegant jewellery.

These pearl earrings are perfect for both day-time and evening wear. You can very easily change the length of them. As I designed them, they are real shoulder-dusters. But they would also look lovely worn shorter.

These pearl earrings are lightweight to wear and will make a gorgeous, subtle statement. They are also quite quick to make. So you can easily make several pairs for different outfits. You could also substitute the pearls for crystals, or mix up lots of different colours of pearls or crystals which is a great way to use up odd leftover beads.

Additional Information

For this design you will be making wire wrapped loops. The pearl earrings pattern shows detailed step-by-step photos along with the written instructions. So this is an easy pattern to follow, whatever your level of experience. It is also a design with which you can experiment to create your own unique version of the pearl earrings.

If you make jewellery to sell at craft fairs, then I am very happy for you to use this pattern for that purpose. I would appreciate it if you could credit me with the design. This is perfect for selling as the pearl earrings look stunning, but need not cost too much to make.

Do bear in mind, you will want good quality chain – this will make all the difference to your design. You also need to take care if you are selling earrings. Make sure that the earring findings are not going to cause allergic reactions. So, buy your materials from a reputable source (these all came from Jewellery Maker). Then, if you can, it is helpful to include labels so your customers are reassured as to the quality of the product they are buying.
