Love Heart Earrings

This pattern originally sold as a limited edition kit. The design uses peyote stitch (straight and tubular), working with size 15 beads. So, I would suggest that it is suited to intermediate beaders and upwards because of the fiddly nature of the beadwork element.

As the Love heart beads are specialist, I am including a full supplier list here. You can purchase all the supplies from a combination of three websites in the UK. I have included the full details below. So, you may want to check these out before purchasing the pattern if you are ordering from outside the UK.

2 x Love heart beads. These can be bought from

2 x silver 10mm triangle bails – silver plated. These can be bought from

2 x 6mm round silver stardust beads. These can be bought from

3g Size 15 Matsuno seed beads in silver lined crystal

4 silver split rings (6mm)

Earring findings of your choice in silver

Fireline (4lb crystal)

Love Hearts

If you have already spent time browsing this website then you will know that I have something of an obsession with food. ..Well, I don’t really, but it looks that way from the beading patterns I have created! This pattern follows that theme, but the difference is the food element is actually a purchased bead.

If you live in the UK or are familiar with out sweets, then you will recognise the Love Heart sweets immediately. These are pure sugar! Each sweet has a different message written on it. So, they are great for sharing. Something about the ‘cuteness’ factor of the love heart sweets made me want to combine them with dainty little beaded bows.

I originally put these together as kits, but they sold out pretty quickly. So, I decided to then release the pattern. I hope you will enjoy it. Finally, I plan to restock the kits when I can. So, do check out the beading kits section in the Beadshop as well.
