If you want a really quick make, these simple beaded earrings are the perfect project.
I made the simple beaded earrings with a combination of multi-holed seed beads.
- Trinity beads
- One hole lentils
- Size 11 seed beads
You will also need your favourite beading thread. If you are making the earrings, then you will need two 5mm jump rings and a pair of earring findings.
You are just going to be following simple beaded thread paths. So, grab your beading needle, scissors and a pair of round nose pliers for adding the findings.
Experience and Techniques
When I called this pattern ‘simple beaded earrings’, I wasn’t joking. This really is a project that anyone can complete. So, even if you are just starting out in beading, this is a great one to try.
If you are just starting out and aren’t familiar with all the beading terms, then this blog post will help you>>
You are mainly going to be stringing the beads. But I have added a little basic Peyote stitch bail. If you’re not familiar with Peyote, you can use another technique, or even just a string of beads for this.
Who will enjoy the simple beaded earrings?
Basically, anyone! I designed these simple beaded earrings while I was playing around with Trinity beads. I love them for the way in which they can create layers. So, combine them with other multi-hole beads and you can get some fabulous effects without much effort.
These are really simple and quick to make. They look great in any colour scheme. Also, because you don’t need many beads, this is a great project for using up some leftovers from your stash.
It is also a great project if you sell jewellery at craft fairs. You can make this motif into earrings or a pendant. Neither will take long or cost much. But the finished design is beautiful, so they are the kind of project on which you can make a decent profit!
Whatever your needs, I hope you enjoy trying this pattern.
