This Zebra stripe bracelet is quick and easy to make and fun to wear. You can stick to the traditional black and white. Or, like me, try something a little different.

Materials

The Zebra stripe bracelet pattern uses the following materials:

  • Peanut beads in two colours
  • Size 11 seed beads in a contrast colour
  • A 1.5″ clasp – magnetic bar or slide clasp is ideal
  • Your choice of beading thread

If you wish, you can also make this project using ordinary seed beads. But I chose the peanut beads because they create a wonderful texture in this design.

You can purchase the peanut beads, thread and seed beads from me. This links to the peanut beads>>

Experience and Techniques

The Zebra stripe bracelet is a beginner level pattern. You will be working in even count Peyote stitch and adding a very simple embellishment at the end.

So, if you are new to even count Peyote, this blog teaches you the technique. You can also download a free tutorial from my website.

About the Zebra stripe bracelet tutorial

In 2019, animal prints came back into fashion in a big way. So, if you follow fashion, you’re going to need some animal print jewellery to go with those outfits!

This tutorial gives you a pattern chart and a word chart for creating this Zebra stripe design.

I have shown you, in detail, how to embellish the edges and how to add the clasp. So, I included instructions for the clasp that I myself used (a magnetic clasp that glues on). Plus, I added two suggestions for attaching a slide clasp if you prefer that style.

So, this tutorial is really easy to follow, with lots of advice, diagrams and illustrations included. That makes it perfect for any level.

Now, all you need to do is decide on your colouring and choice of beads!
