Have you ever wanted to make a beaded box? Do you worry that it’s beyond your skill level? Well, with this easy-to-follow online workshop, anyone can learn how to make beaded boxes.

What does the workshop involve?

You get to work at your own pace through the steps. Enrol at any time and then enjoy lifetime access to the workshop materials.

I have given you a PDF pattern that you can download and print out to keep. Then, in addition to these written instructions, I demonstrate the techniques on video. So, you can see how everything works in reality.

Plus, you can ask me questions if you get stuck. You will see – and can reply to – comments from other students on the course. So, that way, you can share your knowledge with each other as well.

The course includes additional advice about the materials, lots of tips and tricks. So, it’s a brilliant way to learn this fun beading skill.

But don’t just take my word for it! This is what some of the students have already said…

What other students have been saying

Carrie: So please with how this turned out, cute little box, easy to follow instructions and great videos! Looking forward to the next project now 🙂

Alexis: Thanks Katie Dean for the great instructions and videos.

Marion: Excellent Pattern. Well written. Very clear. Lots of useful diagrams. The box was smaller than I wanted and the pattern was so well written it allowed me to create exactly what I wanted.

How to make a beaded box

Now to the practicalities! You are going to be working in Peyote stitch. I have assumed some prior knowledge of the techniques, but I have also linked to places where you can get extra help if you need it.

You can make a beaded box in size 10 or size 11 delicas, so you may already have beads in your stash for this.

I created this design to celebrate International Beading Week, 2019. You can also change it to create your own pattern for the sides if you wish. So, there is a lot of flexibility and this is a great way into beaded boxes. From here, you will have the skills to complete any of my Peyote stitch beaded box patterns (browse them all here!)
