Tubular Peyote Stitch Bangle
These kits were premiered on the Craft Channel. The tubular Peyote stitch bangle kit is available in two colour options: the multi-coloured that is perfect for the summer, or a black and white variation that gives a more sober, neutral look. The project has been designed with beginners in mind, so it is a brilliant way of learning tubular Peyote stitch. I have carefully chosen colours so that you will very clearly see the way in which this technique works. The instructions are written in great detail, accompanied by clear photos and lots of tips to help you master tubular Peyote stitch. You will find that these bangles are very satisfying to make. If you are not a fan of a bangle, you can easily add a clasp instead of joining the ends.
The kit contains enough beads to make at least two bangles. You may even get more out of it, especially if you are adding a clasp (clasps are not included in the kit). In addition to the beads, you will receive a reel of thread and, of course, the full instructions. If you have leftover beads at the end, you can even make short tubes from them and use these as individual beaded beads to string on a piece of jewellery. I have included an idea in the gallery images and, if you are just learning, you might like my brochure which gives you some handy tips for creating basic strung jewellery, as well as different project instructions. You can also find loads more advice about the techniques and materials you will be using at My World of Beads.
