This beaded Christmas bell ornament is simple to make. It uses a variety of different seed beads, so I’ve put together a kit to make sure you have everything you need. The pattern instructions are only available in my ebook, ‘Beaded Christmas Decorations’. So, you will need a copy of that and you can find it here>>
Contents of the Beaded Christmas Bell ornament kit
Your kit contains all the beads you will need to complete one beaded Christmas bell ornament as shown. These include:
- Rizo beads
- Seed beads in size 11 and 8
- 6mm round beads
- 10mm round beads
I haven’t included thread as most people have a large stock of beading thread already. So, you can use the thread of your choice. Just make sure it is something that is strong and will give you good tension. If you need to buy some thread, I have a choice available in my beading supplies department on this website.
Experience and Techniques
You are going to be using Herringbone technique to make this beaded Christmas bell ornament. This is an intermediate level project. However, the ebook does contain video demonstrations of the techniques. So, if you are just starting out, this is a great way to learn.
About the beaded Christmas bell ornament
This is one of the most popular designs from my ‘Beaded Decorations’ ebook. I love the look of Superduos joined in herringbone technique!
Each bell measures around 3″ (8cm) tall and 2″ (5cm) across. Your kit contains enough materials to make two bells, as shown in the photo. I haven’t included any ribbon for hanging these. You can hang them together, as I did. Or hang them singly. Whichever you choose, your Christmas tree will look lovely!
Don’t forget, you need a copy of the ebook for the instructions. You also get seven more fabulous ornament designs, plus all those videos for learning.
