These wooden beads are made from unfinished wood. So, they are perfectly smooth and have lovely grain, but they have not been painted or varnished. As you can see from the photos, they have a lovely large hole.
You can choose the size of your bead. Prices are per bead, unless otherwise stated. So, make sure you select the quantity that you need when you add these to your basket.
How to use wooden beads
Naturally, you can use wooden beads in a huge number of ways. I am stocking these because I use them in some of my beading patterns. So, I am just stocking the sizes that I commonly use. That means you will be able to get supplies for the projects if you need them.
Scroll down to the bottom here to find some suggestions of patterns that I sell using these beads. You will see, I tend to use these wooden beads as a base for making beaded beads. So, I have covered my wooden beads in a number of different ways. I have used different seed beads for doing this, and different techniques.
Of course, you can use your own imagination. You may want to use these wooden beads for a completely different purpose!
Wooden bead sizes
As I have just said, I am only stocking a limited number of wooden beads, so you can get hold of the materials you need for projects from me. So, the sizes you see are given in mm and they relate to the diameter of the bead. That is, the distance from hole to hole.
If you are planning to string these beads, then take note that the hole sizes are quite large. So, you should use larger beads on either side of these. If you try and string them with small seed beads, you will find the seed beads get lost in the hole!
