Bead Weaving Tips and Tricks

This free techniques sheet gives you lots of handy tips and tricks to help with all kinds of bead weaving projects. You will learn how to start and finish off thread using the ‘knotting between beads’ technique. There are tips for organising your beading space. This will help make life easy. You can also find a simple trick to help stop your thread from catching around beads as you work. Plus much more.

The bead weaving tips are all things that I have picked up or discovered for myself as I started bead weaving. I put them together into one handy advice sheet. I give this to students when they start learning with me.

Even if you already have some bead weaving experience, you will very possibly learn something new here. I know I am picking up new ideas and handy tips all the time as I talk to and collaborate with other beaders.

I believe that the basic beading techniques are the fundamentals to all beadwork and you should be able to learn them for free. These techniques are not copyrighted. So I wanted to make sure that everyone has access to well-thought out materials for learning these building blocks.

If you find my style of teaching and writing works for you, then I hope you will return. I will be sending you a discount coupon. So you can use that to sample some of the patterns on this website. Or, if you live nearby, do please book for one of my classes. You can find an up-to-date list of my teaching schedule on the beading classes page.
