Add something adorable to your Christmas decorations with this beaded Christmas bell pattern!

You will need size 11 Delicas for the majority of this project. I also used a few size 10 Delicas and a wooden bead.

I sell all the supplies right here. So, you know you can get everything you need to get started straightaway. Or, very likely, you already have most of these in your stash.

The beaded Christmas bell pattern instructions assume you already have some beading experience. I do take you through the Peyote stitch, but not at beginner level.

So, if you feel in need of some additional help, I have free tutorials that you can download as well.

The majority of the bell is made using Peyote stitch. However, I did use some very basic netting for the clapper. I have explained this thoroughly. So, you shouldn’t have any problem following along.

All my instructions have detailed written steps and photos and diagrams to guide you.

About the Beaded Christmas Bell Pattern

I like to try and come up with a few new Christmas decorations each year. If you have followed my beadwork for a while, then you will know how much I enjoy Peyote stitch.

So, just after Christmas last year, I began experimenting with an idea. I love the geometric, dimensional types of beadwork. So, I thought about making a little beaded Christmas bell to hang on my tree.

I wanted to incorporate pattern and interest into the design. So, this project is what evolved. The bell measures about 4″ (10cm) in height. So, it’s a fairly substantial decoration, although not heavy. I incorporated a beaded bead clapper. So, you can actually ring this bell. Although I confess, it’s not the most melodic sound ever!

Of course, you can colour this in any way you want. So, why not match it to your own Christmas theme? Mine is red and gold. I shall look forward to seeing this lovely decoration on my tree this year.
