Nib Bit beads are two-holed seed beads, measuring 6x5mm. I sell them in 10g packs – that is about 60 beads. So, let me tell you more about them.
What are Nib Bit Beads?
These little two-holed seed beads are shaped like a Trapezium (and yes, I did have to look that up!). So, if like me, your memories of school geometry are a little hazy, let me explain… A Trapezium has two parallel sides, top and bottom. Then, the right and left sides both slope inwards.
So, on the Nib Bit beads, the two holes sit parallel through the top (narrow) and bottom (wide). However, these beads are also shaped in depth. So, if you look at them sideways, the narrow end is a little less deep than the wide end. Hopefully you can see all this from the photos.
I can tell you, they are great to use. Aligned one way, you can create a straight line. Or, join them all narrow ends together and you get curves and circles. I experimented with the circles in my Flower Meadow necklace.
This makes them great for edging projects or adding embellishment.
They mix well with other seed beads. So, I am just at the start of my experiments to see what these little beauties can do!
You can choose from a range of colours here. Just take your pick from the menu. I have made every effort to try and represent the colours as accurately as possible. But we all know that they can look a little different on a computer screen.
So, if you want to try a sample, just order a free sample and tell me which colour you would like in the notes on your order.
For anyone who would like to try before they buy, I do offer a bead sample service. So, you will receive one bead. I ask for a nominal price for this, but I will also include a coupon with your sample. So, you can redeem that coupon against a future purchase from the beading supplies department.
You don’t have to buy the same beads. So, if the Nib Bit beads aren’t for you, it doesn’t matter. You can still redeem your coupon against another type of bead or beading materials.
If you have any questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
